1. Reasons for inconsistency between on-site and remote transmission of flow meters
Flow meters display instantaneous and cumulative flow rates. If remote transmission signals use 4-20mA or pulse signals, there will be certain errors in the conversion of remote instruments, resulting in inconsistent instantaneous flow rates (generally not much difference). However, using 4-20mA signals for cumulative quantity calculation will be completely different from the on-site cumulative quantity, not only caused by errors, but also by different starting points for accumulation. If you want the remote instrument display to be completely consistent with the on-site instrument, the training personnel need to transmit it remotely through the same communication method.
2. Instructions for using wireless remote flowmeter
The core of using wireless remote flowmeter lies in four steps: correct installation, parameter setting, data acquisition, and system maintenance.
1 Equipment installation and wiring - Sensor installation: Select the appropriate installation position according to the pipeline medium (liquid/gas/steam) to ensure a full pipeline state. For liquid media, it is recommended to install horizontally or obliquely, and for gas media, vertical installation is recommended. - Electrical connection: Strictly follow the nameplate markings for power input wiring (usually 24VDC or 220VAC), pay attention to polarity to prevent module burnout. - Antenna installation: External antennas should be kept at least 1 meter away from metal pipelines and maintain a vertical orientation; Built in antenna device avoids rough land excavation and metal enclosed environment 2 Communication parameter configuration can be se
